Women in Politics: 100 Years of Progress
On April 22, 2018, young leaders will gather to honour the centennial date of some women gaining the right to vote in Nova Scotia and collaborate on how we can break the glass ceiling for all women and girls in the next century, together. Women in Politics: 100 Years of Progress is a multi-partisan, day-long event to encourage and inspire the next generation of leaders, bringing young people together with women who have advanced in political spaces and made strides for progress. Together, we will explore how to achieve full inclusion and equity in politics and beyond for all women in the next century.
Delegates will be joined by some of the strongest advocates for inclusive governance today — including leaders from all levels of government, along with grassroots, non-partisan and advocacy organizations. Watch this space for the full list of special guests, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
